CoffeeA couple of months ago, right before my book, Business in Blue Jeanscame out, I did a networking challenge – 30 cups of coffee in 30 days. It was a huge success! I met a lot of fascinating people, had some great conversations, learned a lot of stuff I didn’t know before, and frankly, had a wonderful time. That’s why I’m re-instituting my challenge, but this time, I’m going all out, balls to the wall. Instead of a measly 30 cups of coffee in 30 days, I’m doing 100 cups of coffee in 50 days (and once again, thanks to my friend, Jason Elkins, who came up with this cool concept in the first place).

The rules are the mostly the same:

  1. Time is of the essence, so I’m going virtual: it’s all phone-based.
  2. Last time I drank yerba mate, but this time, I’m actually trying a few different beverages. I’ll enjoy a bit of mate, sure, but I’ve also recently reacquired my taste for coffee, so I just might be enjoying a Kona blend or this cool apricot-and-cream stuff I picked up at Fresh Market (I thought I’d hate it but I totally loved it and bought it, though in retrospect I wonder if my affinity for the coffee was due to the fact that they had real cream sitting out there for the samples…only time will tell.) I may also enjoy a Diet Coke from time to time, although I am trying to kick that habit.
  3. These calls have no official agenda, other than I’d like to get to know you, find out what you do, and have a real honest-to-goodness conversation, mano-a-mano.

Oh, and I may also be walking on my treadmill desk when we talk. I’m trying to get back to that.

Do you know someone I should know?

Maybe we’ve already chatted or maybe a conversation over coffee isn’t your thing. That’s okay. Maybe you know someone I should know. Maybe you know someone who’s an entrepreneur or small business owner that I might enjoy talking with. Maybe you know a cool author I should talk to. Maybe you know someone who’s just downright fascinating. Send ’em to this post and have them schedule a time for us to connect. I’m always excited to meet new and interesting people!

How to schedule your coffee chat with me:

All you have to do is click below to Schedule a chat in my calendar  at least one day in advance and when the time comes, I’ll call you. It’s really that simple.

I’m starting next week, so get in as soon as you can. I’m only doing 100 of these chats this time around. Who knows if or when I’ll do it again??

Book your time now!
